CRA offers taxpayers the ability to receive a formal review should they disagree with their (re)assessment for no cost. Appeals representatives who were not involved in the original decision will conduct a formal and impartial review to reassess the taxpayers entitlement. Further recourse is available to clients via the Courts or an appropriate Tribunal. (Objections and Appeals, Canada Revenue Agency.)
