AFSAR provides funding (contribution agreements) to Aboriginal communities and organization across Canada in building capacity to participate actively in the implementation of the Species at Risk Act (SARA), and to work towards meeting the high priority needs to habitats important for the survival and recovery of endangered and threatened species.
