The Science Horizons Youth Internship Program provides wage subsidies to eligible employers to hire university, college and polytechnic graduates in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Up to $15,000 in funding is available to employers for internships in the environmental and clean technology sectors. Internship opportunities lasting 6 to 12 months provide youth hands-on experience working on environmental projects. (Community Eco-Action, Environment and Climate Change Canada.)
