This service provides web access to atmospheric data and information to a broad range of clients, both internal and external, including World Meteorological Service, academia, the engineering community and general public. Users can search and download past hourly, daily, and monthly weather data and related information for locations across Canada, including: temperature, precipitation, degree days, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, monthly summaries, averages, extremes and Climate Normals. This Advisory and Information Service is not a transactional e-service. The data are accessible online, and are available instantly in a self-service manner, via various database portals: it does not require a user's account nor an application. For 2019-20, the online historical weather data website had a total of 3.5 million page views.
