Certificate Final for Grain

View service inventory entry Visit service website Suggest a correction

The Canadian Grain Commission issues a Certificate Final to exporters for every export shipment of grain attesting to the quality of the shipment. The Certificate Final shows that Canada has certified the grade and weight of an export shipment in relation to grain standards set by the Canadian Grain Commission. It is Canada’s statement that at the time of loading, the grain met the specifications described in the certificate. The Canada Grain Act stipulates that the certificate must be transmitted with the grain’s shipping documents at export. (Grain Quality, Canadian Grain Commission.)
