The Canadian Impact Assessment Registry (the Registry) (formerly the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry), consisting of an Internet site and Project files, was established under the Impact Assessment Act (IAA), to facilitate public access to records related to federal assessments. The Internet site is an electronic registry administered by the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada to deliver online access to key information and records about assessments undertaken under IAA. Project files refer to all records that were used in the context of an assessment.
