Issuance of a Temporary Resident Visa, a counterfoil issued in a passport or travel document by an IRCC officer to allow for travel to Canada. The holder of a Temporary Resident Visa is a person who, in an officer’s opinion, meets the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations and may become a temporary resident upon admission to Canada.
