The National Film Board of Canada’s Archives Service specializes in licensing material from the NFB’s vaults and film productions, such as stock footage, photographs and film excerpts. The NFB archives website is a portal where over 50,000 stock shots are available online. This tool allows customers to search, view and download low-resolution footage for free so that they can prepare a rough cut before ordering broadcast-quality transfers.
