NRCan’s National Non-Destructive Testing Certification Body (NDTCB) provides: The written examination for the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission’s (CNSC) exposure device operator (EDO) certification (NRCan NDTCB is the qualifying body for this examination). To perform gamma radiography or operate an exposure device in Canada, by law you must either: hold a valid exposure device operator (EDO) certificate from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), or be working under the direct supervision of a certified EDO (CEDO). The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is responsible for certifying exposure device operators. The Natural Resources Canada Non-Destructive Testing Certification Body (NDTCB) serves as the qualifying body for CNSC's written examination for EDO certification.
