The Biology Casework Analysis Contribution provides financial contributions to the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, which have established independent forensic laboratories for the purpose of conducting biology casework analysis, including DNA identification analysis, in support of criminal investigations and prosecutions. The purpose of these contributions is to encourage provincial contribution of DNA profiles to the Crime Scene Index in the National DNA Data Bank. (Crime Prevention, Public Safety Canada.)
