The RCMP provides policing services under contract to all provinces except Ontario and Quebec, all three territories, over 150 municipalities and approximately 600 Aboriginal communities. RCMP contract policing services include enforcement of the laws of Canada under various federal acts and provincial laws and statutes, as well as community policing/crime prevention services.
