The independent avenue of appeal for disability benefits decisions made by Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC). Two levels of appeal are provided: Review, and if the applicant remains dissatisfied, Appeal. The service applies rules and dispenses impartial decisions for Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police members, and their families.
